307-Module K-307

Features

The 307-Module is a 68000 based microcontroller product. It uses one of Motorola's most recent additions to its 683xx family of micro controllers. The micro controller provides the serial port, two 16-bit timer counters, an I2C or M-bus interface and some of the digital I/O lines that are available on the 307-Module. The I2C bus on the 307-Module supports four 8-bit I/O expanders giving a total of 36 digital I/O lines and an 8-bit analogue data acquisition port featuring four 8-bit analogue inputs and one 8-bit analogue outputs. Up to a further twelve 8-bit I/O expanders and three analogue acquisition devices can be added to the I2C bus. A battery backed real time clock is included as standard on the 307-Module which returns day, date, month, year, hours minutes and seconds. An alarm facility is also provided. A range of alphanumeric liquid crystal displays (LCD) can be connected directly to the 307-Module, graphics and vacuum fluorescent displays can be connected using a simple interface board. Matrix key pads up to 64 keys can be connected directly to the 16 way key pad connector. This will allow both numeric or qwerty key pads to be used.
